CIHR funding to study impact of PFAS on maternal metabolic health

We are very excited to receive 5 years of funding from CIHR to study the impact of PFAS (aka “forever chemicals”) on maternal metabolic health and islet function. This will be a collaborative project with epidemiologists from the MIREC study (Mandy Fisher, Jillian Ashley-Martin, Michael Borghese), Jan Mennigen from the University of Ottawa, Carole Yauk from the University of Ottawa, and others!
