Another Bruin Lab publication

Our second Bruin Lab publication is out today in Scientific Reports. Here we show that a single high dose of a persistent pollutant (called dioxin or TCDD) leads to long-term metabolic dysregulation and impaired insulin secretion in mice. Importantly, female mice appear to be particularly susceptible to developing high blood sugar levels after dioxin exposure. Access the full text HERE.
