Another Bruin Lab publication

Our second Bruin Lab publication is out today in Scientific Reports. Here we show that a single high dose of a persistent pollutant (called dioxin or TCDD) leads to long-term metabolic dysregulation and impaired insulin secretion in mice. Importantly, female mice appear to be particularly susceptible to developing high blood sugar levels after dioxin exposure.
