Members of The Bruin Lab pose in the photobooth at the Fisher Scientific Anuual BBQ. We had a great time celebrating science and Canada's 150th anniversary, while enjoying good food (and snagging some lab goodies).
Congratulations to Myriam Hoyeck for being awarded an NSERC Canada Graduate Scholarships-Master’s (CGS M) award. This is a prestigious award worth $17,500 per year, awarded to 2,500 graduate students across Canada annually.
The Bruin Lab has its first successful grant application! Thank you to the NSERC Discovery Grant program for funding our project entitled: Mechanisms Underlying the Regulation of Beta Cell Function by Environmental Pollutants.
