Congratulations to Myriam Hoyeck for being awarded an NSERC Canada Graduate Scholarships-Master’s (CGS M) award. This is a prestigious award worth $17,500 per year, awarded to 2,500 graduate students across Canada annually.

The Bruin Lab has completed its first islet isolation. It is amazing to come into the lab to see such focus and hard work. We managed to yield 300, 370, and 420 islets per mouse!
