THE BRUIN LABORATORY

Welcome to the Bruin Lab

Our lab is located at Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario. We study diabetes and are particularly interested in the influence of environmental factors on pancreas development and beta cell physiology.

The Bruin Lab opened its doors in September 2016 and is fully established, with funded research projects and an outstanding team of highly motivated undergraduate and graduate students. We are also members of the Canadian Islet Research and Training Network (CIRTN).

If you are interested in joining our group, please contact Dr. Bruin with a cover letter and CV.
